Teachers' Day Celebration

"Teaching is more than imparting knowledge; it is inspiring change. Learning is more than absorbing facts; it is acquiring understanding" Teacher's day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli on 5.09.2024. The day is dedicated to honor the selfless efforts of teachers who shape the minds of future generations, which is also known as the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The program began with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by a prayer dance and prayer service. Students showcased their talents through songs, dances and skits, expressing gratitude towards their teachers. All the teachers were given a sapling and a gift as a token of love. A special cake cutting ceremony was held to commemorate the occasion. Later, the celebration was continued by the members of Parents Teachers Association, wherein many fun-filled games and activities were organised for teachers, providing a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. All the teachers enjoyed the delicious meal sponsored by one of the member of Parents' Teachers Association. At the culmination of the program, on behalf of entire teaching staff a deep sense of gratitude was expressed towards students by Tr. Sudha Kurane and Tr. Janaki Aarya expressed the heartfelt gratitude towards the efforts put in by the members of P.T.A. on the occasion of Teacher's day. The teacher's day celebration was a resounding success, strengthening the bond between teachers, students and the members of P.T.A. It served as a reminder of the invaluable contribution teachers make to society.
