Meeting with drivers for Traffic rules and safety

The objective of the meeting was to educate the van drivers about the safety measures to the taken in order to ensure the well-being of students during transportation. The Attenders for the meeting were R.T.O. Asst. Police Inspector Smt. Vijaya Chame, Principal Sr. Sushmita, Co-ordinator Mrs. Tereza Tony, PTA Vice President Mr. Amit Shukla. The meeting began with a prayer song followed by an introduction of the police personnel. The police officer delivered a comprehensive presentation on traffic rules emphasizing. 1) Behavior of the driver i) Talking over the phone while driving ii) Drinking and Driving iii) Adherence to accommodation iv) Documents of the driver v) Discipline maintained in the van vi) Safe driving practices The officer also discussed safety measure for children including. 1) Children lighting in the van 2) Avoiding distractions while driving The police personnel also guided the van drivers regarding the good Samaritan started by the police department. The van incharges were encourages to ask questions and share concerns. The police personnel provided valuable insights and guidance addressing each query. Sr. Sushmita, the principal also highlighted on the safety measures the van drivers had to follow inorder to have a safe pick and drop of the school children. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the P.T. Master Sir. Rakesh.
