July 15, 2024, Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli, celebrated its 25th Silver Jubilee in the school premises , marking a significant milestone in the institution's illustrious history. The event paid tribute to the school's enduring legacy, unwavering resilience, and unrelenting commitment to academic excellence. The proceedings commenced with a symbolic balloon release, led by Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Allwyn D'Silva, Father Sundar, Father Julius, Father O'Neil, Provincial Superior Sr. Maria Christi, Manager Sr. Dianne, Superior Sr. Elita, and Principal Sr. Sushmita, signifying a new chapter in the school's journey. This was followed by a Eucharistic Celebration celebrated by the Bishop, priests and attended by the school community. The Principal, Sr. Sushmita, delivered a welcome address, which was followed by the felicitation of distinguished dignitaries, including Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Allwyn D'Silva, Provincial Superior Sr. Maria Christi, Manager Sr. Dianne, and other eminent personalities, who were honoured with tokens of appreciation for their steadfast support and guidance. A vibrant cultural programme then ensued, showcasing the talents of the students. Finally, Tereza Tony, the school coordinator, proposed a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who had made the event a resounding success. The ceremony concluded with a cake cutting event followed by sumptuous meal, where everyone gathered to savor a delicious feast, celebrating the joyous occasion together.
