An Educational field trip was organised for std. VIII and IX on 13th of October, 2018.
We started from school at 8.00 o’clock and reached the RBI Monetary Museum. We saw coins right from Mauryan age till modern age. The obsolete calculator and a massive register with manual entries.
A journey from the barter to the present digital era was viewed by the children.
We also visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj vastu Sanghrahalaya, where we saw a huge collection of textile, coins, art, archaeology, natural history which also included artefacts from various civilizations.
Lastly, we visited the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan and Zoo, where the main attraction was Humbolt penguins. Children were excited to see the penguins in our city.
We also saw many animals and a variety of birds.This trip was informative and enjoyable.We thank the management for this wonderful field trip.
