The ‘Girl Child Day’ was celebrated on the 8th of September,2017. A special cultural programme was conducted in the morning. The students of STD VII and II took part in the cultural programme which consisted of songs, dances, skit and fashion show. The class teachers of STD VII and II were incharge of the programme.
A Hindi skit based on gender discrimination and female feticide was beautifully presented by the student of STD VII. The Fashion show based on Role Model Women of our country was presented by students of STD II, showing the achievements of women in the fields of education, sports, politics, social service, science and technology, etc. The Principal, Sr. Sushmita spoke a few words and inspired the students to respect and save the girl child.Vote of thanks were presented by Tr.
